12.30pm – Ukelear Fall Out
Exciting local group who will get the Mela Festival off to an energetic start with their Uckele inspired sound
1.15pm – Mumbai Vice
A four-piece band who perform Indian/Bollywood/English fusion music. Mumbai Vice love performing great fusion music for the public to enjoy, whether it be covers of favourite classics to bring back the perfect memories or their own music for everyone to make new memories with.
2.15pm – Bollywood Brass Band
The UK’s pioneering Indian-style Brass band, playing the great tunes and compulsively danceable rhythms of Bollywood.
2.50pm – Reel Eire
Energetic Kent based Irish dance troupe who will have everyone up and dancing with them
3.15pm – The Syrian All Stars
A collective of musicians who arrived in the UK under the Refugee Resettlement Scheme, many have toured extensively with artists like Damon Albarn as part of the Syrian Orchestra and Africa Express projects. They now help raise awareness of Syrian music and culture around the UK
4pm – Nurjahan Shilpi
Popular Bangladeshi star who will perform from her catalogue of hits
4.45pm – Paul Dunton Orchestra
Popular locally based act The Tunbridge Wells based performer has firmly made his mark on the musical landscape with his captivating fusion of alternative, pop and classical music
5.15pm – Cohesion Plus Presents Bhangrawood
The award winning Bollywood Brass Band and leading bhangra dance group Four By Four perform an exciting new performance “Bhangrawood” fusing the sounds and dance of fusion brass sounds and the Indian Sub-Continent brought to you by Cohesion Plus
5.45pm – Tanni-I Browne
Leading Bob Marley tribute act singing popular hits from the superstar’s extensive catalogue live at the Mela Festival
